@Annavanni I’m having trouble finding which cards are missing. Do you know for sure you have 20000 cards or you’re saying that based on the number shown when you login to AnkiApp (which appears to be a review count)?
I need to transfer de folder “MCP2” from the AnkiApp to Anki… When I did that process to transfer, this folder wasn’t there, as well as “MCP1” and “MCP3”…
that’s why I know it is missing…
I see. AnkiApp’s folders are not supported yet, but the decks inside folders are imported though. I’ll look into adding support in the next update.
Hi There
When I use the copycat importer, I can´t log in with my apple ID on ankipro to copy my cards.
I click on the apple ID, it seems to load for a bit, but it doesnt open the other screen that normaly does on my browser.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thx

I tried to import the decks from AnkiApp using the addon and from the 8 decks that I have for each only 20 cards were copied, when each deck has approximately 100 card , some even more. May you please help? I scrolled a bit for another user with same issue who you helped, but I didn’t find an answer… would appreciate your help!
Did you confirm only 20 cards were imported by going to the Browse screen and checking how many cards are shown? If so, please share your AnkiApp account with me privately and I’ll take a look.
hi, i followed the copycat importer instructions but for some reason my decks have all imported with no cards in them. the first time, i thought it was an error on my part (i had only downloaded one of the decks before importing), but then i went through and deleted the empty decks before trying again still to no avail. any troubleshooting tips?? thanks 
i just realised though theres a chance it might be an issue with my computer - im using a school laptop and its blocked a lot of normal functions and has a bunch of antivirus software which is impossible to navigate around. so i can only really accept support that doesnt require me disabling any of these programs - might be a lost cause
I can take a look if you’re willing to share your AnkiApp/AnkiPro login privately.
When importing from AnkiApp, the card fields are imported as plain text. But then they are interpreted as HTML in Anki, so all of the newlines get rendered away and all the lines just get concatenated into one long line. What can I do to quickly fix that? I’ve got thousands of cards that I want to import.

Like many other people here I have fallen for the wrong version of the AnkiApp and now wish to switch to the real Anki! However I am experiencing some problems. Maybe you or someone else can help?
I was able to download my flashcards from AnkiWeb as a .zip data. If I try to import it into Anki though, it just says: “500: specified file not found in archive”.
If I unzip the folder and try to copy the files over one by one it also doesn’t work as they don’t seem to be in the right format. I don’t even know what format they are in, it doesn’t say and I am not given an option to change the format.
So second I tried the copycat add on. I was able to download that. But once I open it, it shows me this - and I don’t know what do with that?

I haven’t used Anki before and I don’t know much about codes etc. So what do I put in here? How do I use this?

Actually I figured out I was looking in the wrong place. I was able to import the files. Will take a few days though to check if all of them made it to Anki! Thanks for the CopyCat Importer!

Try Find and Replace with these options.
Do you see the Tools menu? It’s under that menu. Make sure you’re using the computer version of Anki not AnkiWeb: Anki - powerful, intelligent flashcards
