I have the AnKing deck (v12). I decided to split it into subdecks, but now when I unsuspend cards in the main deck, they don’t appear in the main deck anymore.
The main deck has no limit — it’s set to 9999

Someone on Anking team answered this : When you created subdecks, you likely moved cards into them. Because of this, when you unsuspend these cards, they will appear in the subdeck they were moved to.
But Didn’t it used to work if I wanted to study cards from multiple subdecks just studied them in main deck. That number should show total of all new cards in subdecks.
You should check to make sure all of those decks/subdecks are using the Deck Options preset you think they are, and that none of them have separate “this deck” limits.
Does that matters even if the preset has 9999 limit? In both subdecks and main deck
Limits between decks and subdecks interact – The Anki v3 scheduler - Anki FAQs – including deck-specific “this deck” limits. But it doesn’t matter if this preset has that limit if the decks/subdecks are assigned to use a different preset with a different limit. This is especially likely if you have newly created decks and haven’t switched them to the correct preset yet.
