I am utilizing one large deck with multiple subdecks. I would like 200 cards to be pulled randomly from all of the subdecks for at most 200 new cards per day in the large deck. However, the new cards (set to 200 a day and applied to the overall deck) are being pulled from each subdeck, instead of the overall deck, making for over 1000 new cards a day. Also, the overall large deck is also not updating with the total new cards, and is just remaining at 0 instead of displaying the sum of all the new cards from the subdecks. I have updated Anki, reset the settings, applied settings to all subdecks, and moved the subdecks to a new parent deck. I very much want to avoid having to set individual lower new card limits to each subdeck (such as 20), however will pursue that option if there is no workaround. Thanks.

Are your parent deck and all of your subdecks using the same Deck Options preset?
-
Do any of them have deck-specific (“This deck”) daily New card limits set? [Whichever “tab” you have selected when you save is what is set for that deck/subdeck.]

Do you click on the parent deck to study, or do you click on the subdecks separately?

Since you want the cards pulled randomly from various subdecks – do your cards have siblings that you want introduced close-in-time to each other?
