AnKing Step Deck is crashing when trying to study by card state or tag, it says that there is not enough application memory and force quits all other apps even if anki is the only one open
however, study by card state or tag on other decks is working
Try restarting with add-ons disabled – #2 on the Troubleshooting Checklist – Troubleshooting - Anki Manual . If that doesn’t help, the rest of the Checklist are the things most likely to help with an unexplained crash, so try those things. When you report back with an update, also paste what you get from Help > About > Copy debug info.

I have gone through the troubleshooting checklist. Nothing has worked. Where is the Help > About > Copy debug info?
Click the Help menu at the top of the screen.
I have gone to the help menu but can not find the debug infor

I understand the the instructions. However, I am not seeing the “about” button after the help. Can you please show a screenshot of where is located? Thanks!
That’s a new one! This definitely is available somewhere on a Mac, because plenty of folks have posted it before. You can’t have an old version with different menus, because you would have updated when working through the checklist. Is one of those many add-ons hiding the option? Did you check the rest of the menus?
About is under the app name (Anki) on macOS.
