I am new to Japanese but in a formal class. We have now studied Hiragana and Katakana, but won’t get to Kanji until late this semester and all of the next semester. Is there a way to limit displays to Hiragana and Katakana only, and not show me Kanji even if the card has been made displaying Kanji?
If the deck was built with Japanese Support - AnkiWeb, then you can edit the card template and change {{furigana:Field}} to {{kana:Field}}.
