Sync error - SSL handshake?

My deck somehow ended up becoming corrupted. Now when I try to sync I get the error below. Can someone tell me how to remediate this? Unable to sync my deck to anki online

Hello, I’ve returned to using Anki after a long time dormant. I started creating a deck on my desktop app, however I’ve been unable to sync this to anki online. When I try to sync I get the following error message: SSLHandshakeError: [SSL: TLSV1_ALERT_PROTOCOL_VERSION] tlsv1 alert protocol version (_ssl.c:661) Is this an issue with my account?
