when I mark a card to show me again in 2-3 days it still shows up the next day in the deck so its becoming increasingly harder to complete the flash cards in the deck. as of right now the default deck says I have 50 cards but the “actual” deck that I use says 500. I do have the maximum number of reviews up as I am kind of cramming for a test but It would be nice if the cards that I have marked would actually show up when they’re supposed to.
I have been using Anki for a while but I’m new to using it on iPhones, when I use it I just go straight to the deck that I made instead of the default so I don’t know if that’s why.
You’ve got a lot of free-floating ideas in your post, and I’m not sure what you’re trying to tie together, so here’s some general ideas.
Are you sure it’s the same card – and not a sibling card or duplicate/near-duplicate card? You should check the Card Info to be sure it’s the same card.
Are you careful with your syncing habits? Do you sync your collection with AnkiWeb when you open the app on a device and when you close/leave the app on that device, every time?
I’m not sure what you’re looking at or what you’re comparing. If you’re comparing the totals on the main Decks list with the totals in the Browse window – don’t. The Decks list is showing you the cards that are available to study today, not all the cards that exist in your collection.
