Repetition intervall

Hi

My settings in Anki are the same as they have always been, but my repetition intervals have changed for some reason. For example, the cards I did yesterday should be in this interval; 10 min for again, 2 days for hard, 3 days for good, and 4 days for easy but instead so are they 10 min for again, 10 days for hard, 20 days for good and 26 days for easy. My settings are in the picture below so that you can see that everything is normal.

Note: I have done my cards everyday so they werent done overdue.

What shows Card Info ?

It shows this, which is weird because I reseted the cards during June and started doing them all over again why have this happend?

And what intervals are displayed on the buttons for this card?

But I have done the card one time and it was the normal (good 3/4 days and hard 2 days and so on) the first I did the card

I dont know if this has an effect or not but I have the add on “postpone cards” and I did postpone cards -20 days just see how many I have done of the total amount of cards that I have to do. Then right after I postponed the cards 20 days to get the right interval can that have made som effect?

I don’t know.
Create a new profile, study 1 card there.
Transfer the cards with the add-on for N days.
Change the date on the device so that the card is ready for review.
Check the intervals.

Do not use such addons. If you have problems with the backlog, they can be solved in a different way

Alright after reading more on the internet I have realised it was the add on that destroyed my intervals. What are my options now do you think I should just keep repeating the cards as they stand or start over once again because I have done the cards before and I have many more cards to go through for a test I have?

Go on. If you remember the cards even now, they deserve a long interval. And if you don’t remember, then there won’t be a big interval.

I advise you to consider switching to the new anki FSRS algorithm.
Some posts and articles about FSRS

Well I remember the cards because I said I restarted them all over again after not repeating them for like three weeks do you still I should just keep doing the cards even through the intervals are messed up?

Rather than 2 of us helping you on 2 different sites – Reddit - Dive into anything

You posted (part of) the Card Info here – which you didn’t post there. Yes, it looks like that add-on has messed up your card, because it still thinks it’s overdue even though you already did a Forget/Reset on it. [There’s no add-on with exactly that name. Which add-on did you use?]

The next things I would try to see if either of them improves it –

  1. Tools > Check Database
  2. Use Set Due Date on this card, setting it with 2! to change the interval.

If #1 works, then all of your cards should be okay. If #2 works, you’re going to need to figure out how many cards were impacted.

The add on is called ”Postpone cards review”. I have done the cards before but restarted them during june that is why I have so many reviews on card info. I tested your solution number 1 but it didnt change anything. For solution number 2 so are there 816 cards that have been detected because I postponed the cards -20 days just so how many cards I had done of the total amount and then postponing 20 days again (didnt know postponing cards had an effect on the interval). But is it 100% that the setting due date will change the intervals because then I could every day do this for one deck so that I do it for every card because then it till get to much cards on the same day?

I would ordinarily suggest you leave feedback so that the author and other users know about the issues you’re having, but I suppose this situation is not necessarily the add-on’s fault. You’re obviously using at least Anki 23.10 – but that add-on hasn’t been updated in over a year and is only compatible up through 2.1.62. Using outdated add-ons to make changes to your scheduling isn’t great for your database either. :person_shrugging:t4:

Yes, if you use Set Due Date following the instructions – Browsing - Anki Manual – it will change both the due date and the interval.
