Number of new cards stuck at zero

I have two decks at the same level: A1 and A2. I want to review A1 completely before moving on to A2. But for the past few days, my number of new cards to review in A1 has been zero.

I’ve tried many different settings, and while I still have hundreds of cards in A1, my number of new cards remains at zero. In the daily limits, when I set the “New cards per day” for A2 to 21, the number of new cards to review for A2 immediately changes to 21. But no matter what I do for A1, it has remained at zero for days. Even setting A2 to 0 for the daily limits (and having tried all the options one by one)

  1. Look in the statistics: are there actually any new cards that aren’t suspended or buried?
  2. Could it be that those cards are filtered (i.e. in a filtered deck)? If the due column in the browser says “(filtered)”, then they are.
  3. Is A1 a subdeck of a deck with daily 0 limits? Try dragging it to the top to make it on its own, in order to check.

Thanks for your reply.

  1. I’ve never buried or suspended any cards. I started a few weeks ago, and in the options, I chose to be asked what to do with leeches. I saw at an random card of A1 that I was never presented, and the case Suspended wasn’t check

  2. I haven’t seen the word “Filtered” anywhere.

  3. All the folders are at the same level. I tried putting A2 in a subfolder of A1, but even when I click on the A1 revisions, the cards that are displayed are those from A2. So I put A2 on the same lever again

I’ve attached screenshots of my current settings.

I’ve spent so much time creating my cards… I’m eager to be able to continue revising with new cards every day.

Try:

  • Running check database (outils → revérifier les base de données).
  • Enabling "Les nouvelles cartes ignorent la limite de révisions ".
