New install of 64bit Anki on Windows 10 (64bit) 2.33 and it does not run. The blue disc wheel spins a few times then just stops. “Anki” appears in the task manager for half a second then disappears. The last line in the anki-console is “resetting corrupt _global”.
I have used the suggestions to reset permissions.
I have tried installing the 32bit & previous versions but still the same thing.
Thanks for the tip. It ended up that a dialogue box (for language selection) must have been coming up on a separate screen - I think anyway. When I hooked up just one monitor it seemed to work perefectly.
