My reviews from the AnKing deck are showing up as 61 when I usually have 500-600

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help because I’m completely stuck.

I’m using:

  • Anki 25.09.5 (217701ba)
  • Python 3.13.5
  • Qt 6.9.1
  • macOS
  • AnkiHub
  • FSRS enabled
  • AnKing deck

Yesterday I completed my normal 500–600 daily reviews. Today, after opening Anki, my AnKing deck suddenly only shows 61 reviews due.

This is very abnormal for me because I’ve consistently had around 500–600 reviews every day.

Things I’ve already checked

  • Database check completed successfully.
  • No cards are suspended.
  • Daily review limit = 9999.
  • FSRS desired retention = 90%.
  • “Reschedule cards on change” is OFF.
  • No FSRS Helper add-on installed.
  • Restoring yesterday’s automatic backup produced the exact same result.
  • Review cards still exist.

Cards mode:

deck:AnKing is:review

= 5,278 cards

deck:AnKing is:review prop:due<=0

= 61 cards

deck:AnKing is:review prop:ivl>365

= 27 cards

deck:AnKing is:review prop:ivl>1000

= 0 cards

Future Due

The Future Due graph appears completely wrong.

It reports:

  • Total: 100 reviews
  • Due tomorrow: 35
  • Average: 0/day

even though I have over 5,000 review cards.

Add-ons

  • AnkiHub
  • AMBOSS
  • Review Heatmap
  • Image Occlusion Enhanced
  • Customize Keyboard Shortcuts
  • Congrats Confetti

What I’ve already tried

  • Database check
  • Restoring automatic backup
  • Checking review limits
  • Confirming cards are not suspended
  • Checking FSRS settings

None of these changed the problem.

Has anyone seen this before? Could this be a scheduler/FSRS/AnkiHub issue?

It’s unlikely that it’s related to the scheduler or FSRS unless you did something else since yesterday that you haven’t mentioned (like re-optimizing your parameters, changing your Desired Retention, rescheduling your cards, etc.).

It sounds like the cards still exist, but are they available for study? Try searching deck:AnKing -is:new -is:suspended -is:buried – how many cards is that?

Try searching the cards you studied yesterday – deck:AnKing rated:2 – to see what’s going on with them. Did they (and possibly the others that should be due today) get moved to a different deck? Did they get suspended or pulled into a Filtered deck?
