For most of my cards, the hard and good buttons have the same interval, 1 day. On a few of the cards, the hard will say 12.5h. Why is this happening, and how can I make all of my cards say 12.5h for hard.
I suspect you have a short learning/relearning step followed by a 1d step – does that sound right?
When you’re on the 1st learning step, Hard sets an interval halfway between your 1st and 2nd learning steps (Studying - Anki Manual ). For you, that’s ~12.5h.
When you study late in the day, that 12.5h interval is close enough to your next-day-starts time that it will cross the day-boundary, so that interval gets converted to days (Deck Options - Anki Manual ).
