Hello,
I created new cards on my laptop with images and audio. The audio is appearing in Ankiweb and Iphone, but images are not. On the card it states “An image is missing.”
I have double-checked that media syncing was complete on laptop and iphone by checking the sync log.
Syncing images has previously worked until very recently.
Sync images is selected across all platforms.
If you are syncing a lot of new media at once, the media sync might be timing out before completing. Sometimes you need to keep trying.
Try running Check Media on both of your devices. Make a note of the results. Sync your laptop with AnkiWeb. Sync your phone with AnkiWeb. Then run Check Media on both devices again. Any difference in missing files?
Than you for the response.
When I Check Media on Anki on my laptop it says that the image “shopping-8c3d…” is missing. This same thing is reported when I Check Media on my Iphone.
This image does NOT show up when I go to review it on Iphone Anki. Instead, it notes that “shopping-8c3d…” is missing, and the graphic is indeed missing.
However, this image actually DOES show up on my laptop Anki during card review (even though Check Media had reported it as missing). In addition, this file “shopping-8c3d…” is also in the desktop file “collection.media” that has all of the Anki media (despite Check Media reporting it as missing).
Can you find the note in your collection that is using that “shopping-8c3d…” image? What kind of file is it?
