Why is it that when I add multiple fields to a cloze card, some of them come up blank? Also, why is it that when I have multiple clozes, every time I try to edit one, it changes to whatever I put in the previous card when I move to the next cloze card?
It sounds like you haven’t properly understood fields yet. See Getting Started - Anki Manual for reference, but in short, fields need to be added to the template of the note type in order to show up on the actual cards.
Again, this sounds like a misunderstanding of how cards work. A single cloze note can generate more than 1 cloze card. So changes in the note editor apply to all clozes generated by that edited note. cf Getting Started - Anki Manual.
