How to record audio from the PC audio output

Hi. I use OS Opensuse 15.2, Anki Version 2.1.35 (84dcaa86), Python 3.8.1 Qt 5.15.1 PyQt 5.15.1
I used to be able to capture the PC audio output on a older version of Anki, doing the following:

  1. Unplug my microphone
  2. Press “Record audio (F5)” button in the card being created
  3. Turn on a video I was grabbing sentences from
  4. Finish the recording

Apparently the PC audio output was automatically assumed by Anki to be the source instead of the absent microphone.
Now this feature doesn’t work anymore - the PC sounds are not recorded. I can’t find settings for audio recording in Anki either.

Please help me.

I found a temporary solution:
I installed pavucontrol, then I started recording with anki. Then I opened pavucontrol, switched to Recording tab, and changed the recording source. Now the program captures the system audio output.
However, there is still a problem: the silent beginning of the recording is not cut out (the time between I turn on the recording and I play the audio and between when I turn off the audio and switch off the recording, which is about 3 sec). It used to be automatically cut by anki before.
Still looking for the way to make it as it used to be before.
