How to create mix folder

Is there a possibility to combine the flashcards created in different folders into a new folders called mix, for example?
It would be very useful,

you can either move all of them into one deck, move all the decks as sub-decks into one parent deck, or create a filtered deck.

move all of them into one deck

in this way you won’t be able to preserve previous decks and all cards will be moved into one general deck called mix deck. (i suggest you tag the cards in case you wanted to know what card was for what deck before doing this)
How to do it:

  1. on anki desktop create a deck called mix deck
  2. go to browser (Press “B” anywhere)
  3. from sidebar click on the deck that you want the cards moved from then select all cards (click on one card then press “Ctrl+A”
  4. right click on one of the cards and select “Change deck” from the menu that opens (or don’t right click and just press “Ctrl+D”)
  5. select the deck you want to move the cards to from the dialog that opens and press “Move cards”

in this way, you’ll have one deck that you can review all cards from all the decks from, but apparently they won’t be fully randomized and anki will go through the cards deck by deck. this is the easiest way tho.

How to do it:

  1. on anki desktop create a deck and call it mix deck
  2. drag all other decks into the mix deck
    now when you press “Study” on the parent deck (mix deck) you’ll be able to study all decks in that parent deck
create a filtered deck

using this you can review all your due card in one deck every day, they will be fully randomized and will contain all of your decks. this is the best way of doing it imo.
How to do it:

  1. on anki desktop press “F” anywhere
  2. check the “Enable second filter” checkbox
  3. define your filters like in the picture below

  • you can change “Limit to” in the first filter to the number of reviews you want to do each day (9999 is recomended tho, cuz it’s best if you do all your reviews)
  • you can change “Limit to” in the second filter to the number of new cards you want to learn each day

if you think your deck view is too messy you can move all your decks to one parent deck, in this way you will only see one parent deck and one filtered deck (that you study)
