I’ve imported cards from multiple decks that I used to use but I want to change the review timings of each card in each deck so they are all the same.
E.g., Easy being 4 days, good being 2 days, hard being 1 day and again being 5 minutes.
For all the cards.
How can I do this by changing them all at once instead of going through deck by deck or card by card because I have too many cards for it be reasonable to do them one by one.
Not only can you not change them to all at once have the same grading-button intervals – there’s no way to change them one-by-one to that either.
The grading-button intervals for each card are determined by the card’s current state and review history, and your Deck Options. If you’re talking about cards you’ve already studied, you shouldn’t expect them all to be the same – and every time you study them, that will change the button intervals for the next time you study them.
I want consistency with how they change after I review them. Like I’ll review two different cards for the first time and they’ll be hard but I don’t want hard for one to be 1 month whilst the other is 2 days. So I get it will change each time but I want that change and starting point to be the same for cards that are identical expect for the content.
If you’re studying 2 cards for the first time, and they are in the same deck (or they are using the same options), that shouldn’t be possible. Are you sure that one of them wasn’t introduced before, and is now possibly overdue? If you show us the Card Info for the card that’s getting the 1-mo interval, maybe we can figure out why.
