Hide Cloze Brackets in the Editor While Editing

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a way to hide the cloze brackets (e.g., {{c1::text}}) in Anki’s editor while editing the content of a card. Specifically, I want the text inside the cloze deletion to display normally (e.g., just text) during editing, without showing the surrounding cloze syntax.

This would make the editing process less cluttered and easier to focus on, especially for cards with many cloze deletions.

Does anyone know of an existing add-on or script that can achieve this? If not, could you guide me on how to create or modify an add-on to implement this feature?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Looking forward to your suggestions!
