FSRS optimization make the next reviews take too long to appear

Hi guys, I use Anki to learn a language, I already have a deck with +2300 cards made by me with 6 months of work everyday. I use FSRS since I discovered it, but there is a huge problem involved with this “system” on my deck. I’ll add two screenshots about the parameters of FSRS so you guys can see what I’m talking about, but resuming, the issue is that when I try to use the option to optimize the deck, the parameters of FSRS make all of my cards to have an insane amount of time till I’ll be able to see them again. I use FSRS but with the default parameters because of this situation. I’ll give you guys an example, if I’m reviewing a card today and then hit “good” the card will be shown for me in like 2 months, if it’s a card that I already have reviewed it a lot of times. If I optimize the FSRS the same card will be scheduled for 1,6 years ahead, and that for me is just CRAZY, I ain’t gonna lie that I’m scared to optimize the deck because I had to put a lot of effort into it, and I just don’t want to mess up all my reviews just because an “optimization” can you guys help me if I really should optimize and trust the parameters or just let them by default?

One of the reasons why this can happen.

As the person above said, a (relatively) common issue is that the user has been using the “Hard” button as “Fail” rather than as “Pass”. In that case, check the link he posted just above my comment.

If you are sure that you use “Hard” as “Pass”, then there are 2 other explanations: you have excellent memory or you are studying very easy material. If you think the intervals are too long, increase desired retention.
