In MacOS, in most applications pressing Cmd-Ctrl-D on a highlighted word opens a dictionary popup. It can also be triggered with right click → look up. When studying cards, the shortcut doesn’t work and in right click, the only option is Copy. I am really missing this functionality, it works in almost every other app I use and it would be really useful in vocabulary cards.

Anki is built on a cross-platform toolkit, which unfortunately does not support all platform-specific behaviour.
