Decks lost in newest MacOS upgrade but still in older version

I have a Mac and I previously had Anki Version 2.9.13 (2.9.13) on my computer. It was working just fine but now every time open it, it says,“App out of date. You must update to continue, Etc.” I downloaded the latest version for macOs, but when I login I do not have any decks or any data whatsoever. This happens via both the web app and the newest web app. I am still able to open the older version that is still on my computer and it still has all of my decks, but I’m not able to share or use it in any way. What do I do?
