Cards Appearing Blank Every Few Cards/Answer Field Not Loading When Reviewing

I’m currently using Windows 11 and after updating to 23.10.1, I’ve noticed that when reviewing, the cards would appear blank every few cards I review.

Also, sometimes the answer field will not show even after I click “Show Answer” or take a really long time to load. None of these were issues I had before updating to 23.10.1. Is there a reason why this is happening? It’s to the point where I can’t really review on AnkiDesktop because I would have to keep pressing “Sync” for it to work properly again every few cards. Thank you!

Maybe start by doing Tools / Check Database and the other steps of the troubleshooting checklist.

Specifically, changing the video driver from the preferences should help.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I think the “Custom Background Image and Gear Icon” is causing the issue. The home screen of Anki glitches and flashes because of it I think.
