Cannot verify email address

When I try to verify email address, I get the error “We were unable to deliver your email, as you appear to have (perhaps accidentally) marked one of our emails as spam in the past. Please choose a different email address.”

I didn’t mark any emails as spam, but maybe they have been marked automatically in the past. I’ve tried sending another email, but that didn’t do anything, and now I’ve reached the limit for sending attempts.

I’ve whitelisted noreply@ankiweb.net so hopefully no more emails will be marked as spam. Can my account now be reenabled please?

I’ve removed the spam block, so you can try again. But if it’s your ISP/domain rejecting the email, you might need to ask them to whitelist as well – Emails not being received - Anki FAQs .

Unfortunately, I still didn’t get the email. Is there anything I can do to verify the email/account?

I already had an account a few years ago and emails were then delivered correctly, but I wasn’t using it for some time and it got deactivated, so I’m not sure why they are now not delivered anymore.

I can see it bounced again. Unfortunately, there’s nothing else I can do on my end. Your account needs to be connected to a valid email address where you can receive our emails.

This isn’t because of something different happening at our end though. It appears that your ISP/domain is rejecting the emails. You’re going to have to take that up with them, or switch to using a different email address.
