I got a new laptop and was trying to download and sync Anki on the new device. However, Anki does not recognize my password or username. When I tried to get a new password, it says that my email is not recognized either. What to do?

Accounts are optional. If you were syncing with one, the email address will be shown in the syncing preferences screen of your old device.
