Bug with cycling through Japanese words using Japanese IME

There are plenty of topics on this issue and it only started once I downloaded and updated Anki. It has nothing to do with my version of OS on mac as typing in Japanese and cycling through kanji works just fine when I’m not using Anki.

Do we have any update on if/when this bug is going to be fixed?

After an update, I cannot choose Japanese kanji - just goes blank

This was caused by reverting to a previous Qt version due to a different issue. You can work around it for now by switching to the Qt5 version of Anki, and this will likely be fixed in the next Anki update.
