When adding new flashcards, I’m unable to select Japanese words during input. For example, if I input か, hitting space should cycle through a bunch of different kanji, like it does in all other apps. In Anki it does not cycle through anything.

Typing か then pressing space twice works for me, as do the up/down arrows. If this problem started recently, is it possible it coincides with a macOS upgrade?
Hmm, it appears inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t… I’ll try to record my screen the next time it doesn’t work. Is there any other debug information or logging I should capture?
Please make sure you always commit the editing string (eg press enter to remove the underline) before you attempt to switch to a different field or close the dialog. If you do not, the the toolkit can get confused.
