I imported decks from Quizlet into Anki but added audio files produced through Audacity as mp3 files into the new field ‘front audio’ for each card. However, although the audio files are in the media collection on my computer with the correct names, when using the cards, there is no audio.
After creating a new field, if you want it to be displayed during reviews, you will also need to edit the Card Template.
Try this: click on “Cards”, then add {{Front Audio}} to either the Front or Back Template, or both, depending on your preference.

Thank you. That solved my problem. This step was not mentioned in the description on how to add audio to decks. Would be great if that could be added to the manual.
