Arrowkeys not Recognized? Scroll not Working

I’ve successfully mapped the 8BitDo Zero 2 to my iPad. I went into Gamekeys to map it, and every button is recognized (“Pressed A”…) except for the arrow buttons, which is where I wanted to map the scroll up and scroll down function. I programmed it there anyways just to see, but of course it doesn’t scroll.

I then turned everything off except ABYX, restarted my iPad, and re-connected the controller. The programmed ABYX functions still work, but now, the up and down arrow keys make the page go up and down, even though there is nothing programmed onto them. The left and right arrow have nothing programmed to them, and nothing happens when you press it.

Does anyone have any advice about how to re-program my arrow keys?

Didn’t realize the arrows keys were called D-Pad! Those articles helped - thanks.

I ended up re-programming like they suggested:

  1. Start + X
  2. Pressed Select + Up Arrow until a red light briefly flashed.
  3. Pressed Select + Down Arrow until a red light briefly flashed.

I think I re-started my iPad once as well.
