The ankiweb website would work as a dedicated page for checking the status. If it opens then you know the problem is gone.
yeah not really my point, and its pointless for people using mobile only. having a dedicated status page will make plenty of people’s time with this outage a lot smoother including forums moderators having to merge the 1000000’s of duplicate posts

Thanks dae for everything and even providing live updates and technical support to others during this outage, I know from experience how difficult and stressful is to deal with one so it’s great you still have the time and will.

I just want to say that I can’t thank you enough for developing and supporting ankiweb. Yesterday I passed my final exam and I am doctor, soon to receive diploma. Anki has been part of my studying since first year of medical school. I don’t know how I could achieve this without this app. Even for acceptance exams, I used Anki and got really high grades that got me accepted. Your work is creating doctors, engineers, polygots etc. God bless your whole developer team.

I did read the FAQ about it, but I’d still like to express my willingness to throw the project a small financial bone. Tl;dr for those who haven’t read: You can buy the iOS app, setting up other ways would be an unnecessary hassle for now

Hi! Unfortunately, today I suddenly have the problem with syncronising my fellow Anki-users had yesterday. I didn’t have any problems yesterday. Do you have any information about this?
This is unrelated to the above - the last two nights I’ve been woken up in the middle of the night because one of the servers has stopped responding and needed restarting. I have yet to get to the bottom of it.
Thanks for the information! I’ll just keep learning my cards on just one device, as to not confuse anything as long as the problem persists.
