Hi there,
i know this has been posted before, I have been overwriting decks created on ankiweb without syncing them to my desktop first. I hope that this way, I might be able to contact the person / account that can look for back up syncs and thought I would try my luck.
unfortunately, there was a very small time window between creation of the new deck and me synchronizing the wrong way, so i guess chances are slim, but I thought I would try. The decks were created last night past 7 (CEST, not entirely sure what time zone users here operate under, otherwise I would convert the time, sorry).
Anyhow, thanks for reading and maybe there’s help for me out there 
..also, just to specify: this wasn’t a first time sync. I still believed I only uploaded data to ankiweb, therefore overwriting the decks i am now desparately missing. I also have automated syncing when closing the application activated and thb, I am not entirely sure which way it is supposed to sync normally? I am sorry this is a bit chaotic.
