Anki windows to Mac

I’m starting to use anki on windows first and will be buying a Mac soon. How do I move all my cards to the Mac anki? Or is it automatic? I don’t see any login or account for anki windows so I’m wondering how they will follow me ?

Another question is if I use anki on Mac and purchase the iPhone app will my account be there? I don’t see any login options so I’m wondering how my decks will follow me .

If you synchronize to anki.web a re-sync to Mac should work. As a precaution, also do a local backup save of your decks, if needed you could import the exported ones from Windows back into a Mac. But the Anki.web sync is the easiest.
