Anki os error 10060

Hello,
I get this sync error pop-up every 20-30 mins, but when I try to manually press sync at that exact time, it works fine and there is no problem in syncing. Although it is not a major problem, it is quite frustrating because of the continuous error popups though out the day.

I have searched the web for os error 10060, and learnt it is a socket issue, and I have tried all the suggestions mentioned, but it doesnt seem to help my issue.

Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.

Updating to a more recent Anki version will prevent the popup from appearing, but the underlying issue is likely something on your machine filtering Anki’s internet connection. https://faqs.ankiweb.net/error-establishing-a-secure-connection-when-syncing.html
