Anki app on my computer

Hi there

I’ve not used Anki for a while. On my computer I can access all my cards through the web browser. But I used to have an app on the dock of my computer (Mac). That app has gone. When I search, I get an icon with a blue background and white writing. No star. It doesn’t look the same. Is that the ‘real’ anki, or some copy cat thing?

(I’m not a technically minded person, apologies if this is not written using 100% accurate tech language)

That icon doesn’t sound right, so unless you changed it, it’s unlikely that’s the right app.

I can also tell you that your AnkiWeb account has no history of syncing with a desktop install of Anki – it has only synced with AnkiMobile.
