An Error Occured

Hi,
I recently reset my laptop. Before resetting, my desktop anki was continuously showing error messages telling me to restart my laptop or use an earlier saved version of my cards. After resetting, I am now receiving a new error message and it tells me to use tools and check database and restart my laptop. But that does not work. However web anki works perfectly. I have pasted the error report below.
Thank you for the help in advance.

What triggers the error to occur? Does it happen immediately after opening Anki, or are you doing something first?

The error occurs immediately after opening Anki. I also receive the following error message immediately after opening the app

“Anki was unable to open your collection file. If problems persist after restarting the computer, please use the Open Backup button in the profile manager.”

I have used the open backup option multiple times, but I still receive this error.

I have the same problem, I use the latest version of ubunto.

If you use File>Switch Profile to view the profiles screen, and create a new profile, are you able to open that newly-created empty profile without error? If so, does importing a backup into that new profile work?
