Hi everyone,
I’m studying Japanese at university and don’t think I could survive without Anki. However I had a question about using tags in card creation and was hoping someone might be able to answer.
The main question is can you have a card which, once flipped, has words from another note with the same tag on the back? A bit like a mini thesaurus for kanji on each card. I’m at about 650 kanji and 3500 cards and I’m at the point where I recognise old kanji used in new compounds but I can’t remember from which words. So I’d like it that if I tag a card with a 結 tag, then once I flip it it also shows some of the other words which are also tagged with 結. I find the more links I can make between old words and new ones the easier it is for me to remember.
Next would be about if I can import a list of only tags from a spreadsheet (sorry this might have already been answered). And finally if there is some script or method I could use to the automatically tag all of my previous notes with the tags matching Kanji on the note without going through and manually adding all the tags?
Hopefully I’ve explained it well enough. I didn’t find anywhere else on the forum explaining the main point but sorry if I missed something.
Thanks in advance for any tips!!!
