Ability to exclude recently "again" cards when reviewing ahead

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I review ahead after reviewing my original cards for the day. I get the following problems:

  • I get the recent “again”/incorrect cards, which defeats the purpose.
  • If I get them correct they stay due for tomorrow, which again defeats the purpose.

Describe the solution you’d like

  • An option to exclude the recent (today’s) “again”/incorrect cards via a tick box when selecting “review again”.

Describe alternatives you’ve considered

  • Nothing I have found fixes the problem so far.

“Review ahead” has some inherent drawbacks, so it should be used sparingly – Filtered Decks - Anki Manual . If you need to do it anyway, the simplest solution is available to you right now – exclude the relearning cards from your filter with -is:learn.

You can use a filtered deck with the search string:
prop:due=1 -rated:1

This searches for cards that are due tomorrow which you did not study today.

You could use -rated:2 if you also want to exclude cards studied yesterday.
