Version 2.1.44 wants me to update to version 2.1 (Windows 10)

I have just updated to version 2.1.44 of Anki on my Windows 10 machine. Now the following message appears

I don’t understand. I am already on 2.1 and if I click on update I get the following

Anki 2.1.44 uses version 2.1 of the scheduler.
