What is Anki 2.1?

Hi guys, I just updated my Anki to the newest version and there’s something at the top of my home screen that asked to update the Anki 2.1 scheduler?

I haven’t came across that so I am not sure what that is. Any advice?
Will I lose my progress if I update it?

This just changes some things about how Anki schedules cards for study, and you won’t lose progress if you enable it.
