So brand new and just downloaded the Ankiapp. But it doesnt give any way to upload an excel file. Do I have to upgrade to Ankiapp unlimited or a different Anki? Websearches haven’t been helpful. Help!
Sorry, it sounds like one of the knockoffs got their claws into you – Anki knockoffs - Frequently Asked Questions . Hopefully you didn’t pay for it – and if you did, hopefully you can get a refund.
Then you can install real Anki – links for all platforms are on the main site, https://apps.ankiweb.net – and the manual will show you how to import your file. Text Files - Anki Manual

I did delete it and get another anki with the star. And it is working great!
