Unable to sync. Deck too large

i keep getting this error message:

Your collection file is too large to send to AnkiWeb. You can reduce its size by removing any unwanted decks (optionally exporting them first), and then using Check Database to shrink the file size down.

I tried everything. I am on anki 25.02.4. I use anking and i tried to sync my decks but it doesnt go thru. I have exported the decks, deleted them off anki, and anki web and tried to sync it again but that also didnt work. It worked for me the first time, but i just came back to the same problem a couple of days later. I have also deleted everything from anki web to see if that would work but it also didnt. I am a medical student and i need to be able to sync because im constantly switching from my phone, to pc, to macbook.

Have you synced successfully in the past? The AnkiWeb account associated with the email address you used here is brand new and has no sync history.

i deleted my account and made a new one cus the data on ankiweb wouldnt be removed after i cleared out everything. I deleted my decks on ankiweb but the usage still showed 400mb. I cleared out everything and i resynced with anking but i lost all my review data. is there a way to import only the review data?

No, you can’t disconnect the review data from the rest of the database.

Hopefully you made a COLPKG or APKG export of your collection before deleting everything?
