Trouble Using Parent Decks to Study Children Decks (SubDecks)

I have a parent deck “Exam 2” with children decks “week 4”, “week 5”, and “week 6”. I am unable to study all children decks simply by selecting the ‘Exam 2’ deck. When I go to increase today’s new card limit with a custom study for the parent ‘Exam 2’ deck, it states “Available new cards: 0 (1691 in sundecks)”.

How can I fix this so that I can study all sub decks simultaneously through the parent deck? Right now it is making me simply study each sub deck individually.

If you want them mixed together, you can adjust the “new card gather order” option in the deck options.
