How does Ankiweb generates an unique ID as soon as we try to upload our deck to shared decks list. Also, is there something like an API for searching the shared decks?
Sorry, there is no API - they are only accessible via a browser.
I am interested in improving the user experience when a user in AnkiDroid downloads a shared deck, I can perform a search via a URL, but as you said there’s no Api. Without an API the tasks like searching decks and uploading shared decks directly from AnkiDroid seems a bit confusing. As there’s no api is it possible to create one ?
I have a large backlog of tasks that need doing, and I’m afraid adding an API for shared decks is not near the top of the list at the moment.
