After update my mac to Sequoia 15.7.2 all text in computer version showing as boxes with the letter x. I’ve restarted the computer, opened Anki in safe mode, and reinstalled Anki and the issue persists. Any ideas?
Please look at these 2 forum topics: Garbled text (question mark in box) while entering text in new cards and Mac mini upgrade, now have question marks in boxes , and see if the suggestions in them might help.
Specifically, they suggest that you try changing the Editing Font and/or the font used in your card templates.
And this as well – Latest macOS font compatibility .

Thanks! I changed the font to calibri from arial and that seems to have solved the problem.
