I tried syncing my Anki desktop with Ankiweb, however, despite the deck I use having only twenty cards with just text entries, the sync goes on a loop like so:
Actually, however moderates this can close my request. It turns out that I had an extremely large cache of unused media. Deleting said media fixed everything.
From the menus go to Tools → Check Media. You will see additional buttons at the bottom of the Check Media window if there are any issues. See the web page Media - Anki Manual for more information.
Thanks for the reply. I can’t access that option all of the top bar options are blacked out. Is there anything else I can do or do I just need to wait?
I’ve never seen the menus grayed out like that. What happens if you go back to the deck view in Anki (like when you first start it) and then go to the menus? Are they active then?
I can’t change the app either. I have 2 windows open: one is the media sync which is just an infinite cycle which I can’t close and the app open but I can’t move around on the app either and the window is unclosable. I can’t even shut down my computer because of it
