I’d like to study cards from all my decks at once, in random order, but retaining all study settings (new cards, reviews, lapses) from the respective decks.
What is the current recommended workflow to do this? It should ideally be “mobile friendly”, i.e. not involve add-ons.
I know Anki 2.0 had some limitations that made filtered decks unsuitable for this purpose. My collection is already updated to use the new version 2.1 scheduler.
Filtered decks in the 2.1 scheduler will show new cards in random order, but it’s only possible to set a single limit on the number of new cards and reviews - you can’t have separate limits for each deck.
Currently I have a couple of decks grouped by language and it works nice - I can study all decks from all decks for particular language mixed.
I was looking for something even more global, option to do reviews for all decks and all groups. One idea that occurred to me was to create a super-group that would encompass all language group, but that would involve renaming / rearranging all decks - I’m not sure that’s quite elegant
