Your HTML tag is incomplete – although I’m not sure if that’s the standard view or the underlying HTML view. In the HTML view, you would ordinarily refer to a local or online image with – <img src="...">. If you are using field references inside media tags on your templates – Field Replacements - Anki Manual – that may have worked before, but it wasn’t supported.
You’ll need to update your card templates. And then you can use Find and Replace to fix the references in the image field of your notes. Browsing - Anki Manual
Are you entering this in the main view of the field, or the HTML view? Open the HTML view with the < > above the field, and enter the img tag there.
All of that said – it would be better for you to use local images in your collection. An add-on like Localize Images will help you do that.
