Short service break

I cannot open my ankipro app on my iPad.

It says there’s an data migration issue. I couldn’t find any other options. I tried delete and re upload but it doesn’t help. Any suggestion?

“AnkiPro” is not supported by this community as it is not related to the official Anki. Recently their server seems to have gone down.

If you use the “Copycat Importer” on your desktop you can move decks from Copycat App to the official Anki.

[Official Anki] (Open source except iOS)

  • AnkiMobile ($24.49/Lifetime, one time only) Official Anki developed app
  • AnkiDroid ($0) Anki app developed by volunteers
  • Anki for Desktop ($0 Win, Mac, Linux) Official Anki and volunteer developed
  • AnkiWeb ($0) Simple Anki for Browser

[Copycat Anki] Unrelated and incompatible with Anki. (No support from this community)

  • AnkiPro ($4.99/per month~$ 29.99/per year)
  • AnkiApp ($24.99/per year, $48.99/Lifetime)

[Why are there copy cat apps for Anki?]

  • “Anki” is just a word that means " memorize" in Japanese. And Anki is free open source and developed by volunteers, so the trademark issue is of low priority.
