See how many New cards are in each Deck

Is it possible to see how many New cards are in each Deck, all at once, without individually navigating to each deck’s Stats page?

Yes. You can click on Browse, choose your deck in the side panel and look at the top bar of your window.

I have a lot of decks, so I don’t want to click on each one. I want to see a table of how many New cards are in each one. Like this:

Deck Number of New cards
Foo 1
Bar 2
Baz 3

The only way I can think of to get that from native Anki would be to set your daily New card limits high enough that the New card counters in the main Decks list would count all of them. Of course, that also means Anki will offer all of them when you study. If you have a lot of Options presets I expect it would also be a pain to set all of those and then undo all of them.

As far as add-ons – https://ankiweb.net/shared/addons

  • The “enhance main window” add-ons (there are at least 2 versions of this) probably have that as a column you can add to your Decks list. You’ll need to customize the add-on to show what you want, but if you don’t want it visible all the time, you can just enable it as needed.
  • There are also some “More” add-ons that might give you what you’re looking for (look for names like “more deck stats” and “more overview”). Those might be too high a level for your needs, and I don’t know which of them also shows up on an individual deck’s study screen.
