Running two versions of Anki on same computer. Mac osx

Are there any issues or any reasons I should not run two versions of Anki on my computer? It seems they share the same files in Library. Thanks.

You can use profiles if you need to keep data separate. If you’re trying to run two copies concurrently, you’ll need to create a separate user account for running the other Anki. If your Mac has a fingerprint reader, you can set up a different fingerprint for the other account, then switch between them by changing which finger you use.
