Restoring keyboard focus after entry card

Using 2.1.52 (the only version I have tried), after I type into the text box of an “entry” card, the keyboard focus is not returned to the bottom area with the “again”, “hard” etc buttons, so keyboard shortcuts no longer work to advance to the next card. I have the click on that area every time to restore the focus. Any help would be appreciated.

What language is your keyboard input set to? The 1-4 buttons still work for me on an English layout.

English/US. This is on Arch Linux.

Can you reproduce the issue with both qt5 and qt6 versions of 2.1.54 downloaded from the Anki website?
